Want to create your own Myspace or You Tube site? Want to be the next web billionaire?
Script Mimic, which just entered a “very wobbly beta”, is a place to find ready-made scripts that replicate the functionality of your favorite sites, particularly social services. If you want to build your own MySpace, YouTube, Imageshack /Photobucket, Wikipedia or Stickam , Script Mimic has lots of scripts listed, with prices ranging from free to thousands of dollars. If you register with Script Mimic, you can also submit a request for a script that hasn’t already been made.

The collaborative DIY web site Instructables has a neat trick for adding a shutdown shortcut to your Windows desktop complete with the shutdown icon (or anywhere else, for that matter).
In fact, the little how-to also shows you how to make shortcuts to restart, logoff, and shutdown your computer, as well.
Instructables puts it all together in one neat step-by-step package.
